It is a VTE informative booklet for patients. To be given to all patients admitted to hospital including for day case surgery and it should be taken home on discharge.

It is the above leaflet in an easy read version. Suitable for: Paediatric patients, Patients with a learning disability, Patients with cognitive impairment (e.g. early dementia, stroke), Anyone who prefers a simpler version of the leaflet.
Leg casts and blood clots - Reducing the risk
It is a VTE informative booklet to be given to all patients fitted with a leg immobilisation appliance (e.g. cast, walking boot, back slab, etc). To be given at the time of immobilisation of the limb. For patients admitted to hospital give the leaflet Blood Clots: Reducing the Risk.
