BHT Thrive: Success

BHT Thrive > Celebrate success

Develop ways of recognising and celebrating one another. Success is not about getting from A to B, it’s about mastering a way of working that fosters creativity, fulfilment and personal investment, enabling us to want to make progress continuously.

Recognition

Things to consider

  • What are impactful ways to recognize others at work?
  • When can you provide recognition?
  • How can you provide recognition?
  • How does each team member like to be recognised?
  • What makes the team feel valued?

Recognition - top tips!

  • Recognition is everyone's job - it is not just for managers
  • Remember to celebrate the small wins too
  • Be sure you recognise and thank everyone for their efforts - a thank you goes a long way
  • Share feedback - no matter how big or small, from a patient, carer, family member, colleague…
